Stand Up To Cancer
It’s great to see so many female artists come together for a common cause. A new single titled “Just Stand Up” will be released exclusively on iTunes September 2nd to support the fight against cancer. It’s already being broadcast on the radio. I heard it today on the radio and it really is a good song, which isn’t always the case when you have so many artists on one song.
What’s fun is to try and guess who sings what part. Go on and try, but it can get hard.
The song features a long list of chart topping female artists. It’s just so insane. Here’s the list: Rihanna, Fergie, Miley Cyrus, Natasha Bedingfield, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, LeAnn Rhymes, Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Ciara, Keyshia Cole, Ashanti, and Carrie Underwood.
There’s even a live performance scheduled during the broadcast of Stand Up To Cancer Special premiering on all the major television companies September 5th. The show starts at 8 p.m. EST. I’m looking forward to seeing that and also to purchasing the song.

This song is truly amazing and very inspiring. I am a professional mariah Carey Lookalike and my mother was just diagnosed with advanced breast cancer so this song has very special meaning to me as it has hit close to home..
